Quality Control Inspector - Wharton

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to work with a leading company in the personal care sector in Wharton. This role ensures adherence to company and customer standards for incoming components and finished materials, maintaining full compliance and proper documentation.

Shift Patterns

• 2nd Shift | 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday

Pay Rates

• 21.00 - 24.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Quality Control Inspector

• Do you have experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment?
• Are you comfortable using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify product specifications?
• Can you describe a time when your meticulous review of a document or component prevented a non-conforming product from being sent to a customer?
• Detail your experience with line clearance and package integrity checks. Explain your process for sample selection under customer-specified plans (like ANSI/ASQ Z1.4) and how you verify the correct positioning of labels and identity stamps.

Role for Quality Control Inspector

• Perform routine quality audits of finished materials and prepare quality control documents.
• Maintain inspection equipment in good working order, including calibrating to required standards.
• Identify finished materials as Accepted or Held and manage non-conforming items for review.
• Assist Production Department personnel in understanding customer quality requirements.
• Ensure all labels and identity stamps are correct and positioned as required.
