Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL for data manipulation, validation and reporting.
• Manage and tune DataStage environments; monitor job logs, performance metrics and system health.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in on-call or shift rotations as needed.
• Implement and follow security, change management and incident-management practices to meet SLAs.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks, documentation and automation for routine maintenance and deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience preferred, with a minimum of six years in ETL development and administration using DataStage.
• Strong experience with Unix shell scripting, Cron jobs and relational databases; proficient in Python and SQL scripting.
• Hands-on production support background with incident resolution, monitoring and SLA-driven delivery.
• Familiarity with scheduling and integration tools such as Control-M, Managed File Transfer (MFT) and IBM Gentran is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methods, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; experience with ITSM processes is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills; experience working in onshore–offshore delivery models is a plus.
• Nice to have: exposure to Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms.
