Security Office Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driverin Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history

Job Schedule:

Tuesday-Thursday: 06:00AM-2:00PM

Friday: 11:00AM-07:00PM

Saturday: 12:00PM-08:00PM

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, crowd awareness, and policy compliance during business hours and/or special events.

Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by reporting suspicious behavior, customer concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
