Job Description

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director to lead market access scientific strategy and evidence generation for pipeline products in the U.S. healthcare environment. The role involves developing differentiated value evidence, conducting real-world data analytics, and ensuring early integration of payer and policy requirements into development and launch plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access scientific strategy for pipeline products, including evidence generation and dissemination planning
• Identify real-world evidence and market access requirements early and integrate into U.S. development and business plans
• Design, conduct, and oversee research studies and analytics that support differentiated value propositions for payer stakeholders
• Assess implications of regulatory changes (including the Inflation Reduction Act) on pipeline assets and translate into evidence priorities
• Manage budgets, vendor oversight, publications, and quality standards for evidence generation and communication materials

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, or Health Policy; doctorate preferred
• Minimum 7 years of relevant research experience in healthcare or related field
• Expertise in clinical knowledge, medical reimbursement, and economic evaluation across multiple therapeutic areas
• Strong understanding of U.S. payer landscape, policy implications, and market access requirements
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and external research partnerships
• Proficiency in real-world evidence study design, analytics, and health economic modeling
